Objectives (course unit)

The student

- masters the key quality management systems and their application in practice
- as an expert, is able to manage and develop the quality and processes of services

Content (course unit)

- basics and methods of quality and process management in health care and social services
- the basics of lean thinking
- quality management systems
- process description
- measurement of process performance and continuous improvement
- quality management as part of developing professional practice in a work unit

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2) (course unit)

Student
- is able to search for information related to the topic and use national and international sources
- is able to apply the information gathered at a descriptive level in reviewing current practices and practices;

Assessment criteria, good (3-4) (course unit)

The student
- is able to seek evidence-based knowledge from both national and international sources, and is able evaluate the sources critically
- is able to use the acquired knowledge in critical evaluation and development of current practices

Assessment criteria, excellent (5) (course unit)

The student
- is able to retrieve evidence-based information from a variety of national and international information sources, critically evaluate studies and synthesize the information gathered
- is able to evaluate current practices critically and is able to create new evidence-based practices

Osaamisen varmistaminen yksilö - ja tiimitehtävien kautta. Erillistä tenttiä ei järjestetä. Uusintamahdollisuus hylätyssä osassa. Arvosanan korottaminen tarkoittaa kaikkien opintojaksojen tehtävien korottamista.
