Objectives (course unit)

The student knows the common methods used in software projects. The student is able to participate in a software project as a developer of a project team.

Content (course unit)

Development of various applied software projects for different areas of technology and services. Agile software development of innovation projects.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2) (course unit)

Student is able to develop some applied software projects for different areas of technology and services with guidance. Student is able to use agile software development of innovation projects with guidance.

Assessment criteria, good (3-4) (course unit)

Student is able to develop given applied software projects for different areas of technology and services. Student is able to use agile software development of innovation projects.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5) (course unit)

Student is able to independently develop various applied software projects for different areas of technology and services. Student is able to exploit diversely agile software development of innovation projects.

Assessment methods and criteria

Numeric grade is based on exam of theoretical project management and project work knowledge.

Student workload

15 cp is equivalent to appr 375 hours of which 70% is project work and the rest studying project management practices.

Content scheduling

Project management and project work skills preferably during the first 2 months of the course.
The rest carrying out practical sw projects.

The course consists of studying project management skills and practical project work.
The practical project work part of the course may consist of several smaller projects.
