Key Learning Outcomes

The programme is based on evidence based care, which requires researched information. After graduation, you will have the skills to evaluate research data critically and to apply it in your own field as a clinical expert.
The aim of the advanced professional studies is to give you the opportunity to apply theory into practice as well as to develop your analytic skills, project management and research and development skills as well as social competences.
The aim of the master’s thesis is to develop your research and development abilities. The master’s thesis demonstrates your ability to apply researched knowledge and to use the selected research and development methods in solving problems in the working life. You will also demonstrate your readiness for independent expert work.

Occupational Profiles of Graduates with Examples

Social and health care management and leadership, development tasks, diverse projects, and other expert tasks. Clinical nursing experts work independently in different jobs in promoting and preventive health care.

Access to Further Studies

The master’s degree from a university of applied sciences produces the same eligibility for postgraduate studies as a master’s degree from a university.

Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading

Evaluation is based on the common evaluation criteria of TAMK.

Graduation Requirements

Completion of studies and achievement of competence objectives in the extent set by the curriculum.

Mode of Study
