Objectives (course unit)
After completing the course, the student is able to
• applying appropriate instruments and techniques in a holistic clinical examination of the patient/customer and performing the anamnesis
• interpreting diverse research results as a basis for assessment of the need for treatment
• drawing conclusions of the customer's health status independently in their own special field and planning follow-up care
• taking responsibility for the care of patient/customer groups with various non-communicable diseases in different stages of the clinical pathway, and when necessary, consulting the multi-disciplinary team
• assessing the the customer's/patient's need for rehabilitation
• evaluating and improving safety standards of the working unit
