After completing the course, students can
- understand the historical change of events
- understand and follow the development future formats of events
- recognise the different solutions of emerging media in creation of events
- analyse critically user experience of hybrid event formats
- demonstrate hybrid event solutions

Sisältö (Opintojakso)

During the course, the students explore the historical change of events regarding hybridisation and future formats of events. They critically evaluate the user experience of new event formats and suggest solutions for improving it. They recognize IT privacy and safety factors of hybrid events. The students demonstrate their views of future hybrid events in an online seminar or workshop carried out by themselves.

The study time of the online course is 10.1.-13.5.2022. There are three remote sessions in Zoom:

Arviointimenetelmät ja arvioinnin perusteet

During the course, the students are required to complete the small group tasks. And will attend content and technical production and broadcasting of the online event in Tamk international week.

Opiskelumuodot ja opetusmenetelmät

The course is carried out mainly as an asynchronous online Moodle course including course tasks and materials. There will be six three-hour remote sessions in Zoom. Last two of them will be preparing for the Tamk international week. During the international week, students will run a own on-line event as a part of the inyternational week program.

The student does not show evidence on the defined learning outcomes, e.g. there are lot of absences or incomplete tasks.

The student defines the basic concepts related to events. S/he knows the common means related to content creation of events and applies at least one of them in a practical case. S/he demonstrates ideas for hybrid events. The student takes responsibility for her/his work.

Arviointikriteerit - hyvä (3-4) (Ei käytössä, kts Opintojakson Arviointikriteerit ylempänä)

The student knows the basic concepts of hybrid events. S/he critically analyzes and provides various ideas hybrid events – now and in the future. S/he demonstrates creative ideas for events. The student develops committedly her/his knowledge and skills in hybrid events.

Arviointikriteerit - kiitettävä (5) (Ei käytössä, kts Opintojakson Arviointikriteerit ylempänä)

The student critically analyzes and provides alternative scenarios and solves of hybrid events – now and in the future. S/he demonstrates creative ideas for hybrid events.The student demonstrates excellent and open-minded attitude to her/his work, as well as towards fellow students’ knowledge and skills.
