Project Work Skills and Computer TechnologyLaajuus (5 cr)

Objectives

The students learn how to work in projects, especially in information system development projects. They learn both practical skills as well as how to find solutions to the problems of acquisition and structuring ICT from the project management viewpoint.

Content

Project planning and project working principles, project work practices and processes, schedule planning, project manager’s role and skills, project portfolio management, project interest group management, deliverers and purchasers views in project deliveries, designing and managing software building and implementation projects, software development life cycle models and other specialities of software projects and their risks.
