Objectives
After completing the course, the student knows the basics of the structure, operation and programming of different types of robots. In addition, the student can apply his knowledge to production automation and piece processing. The student also understands the importance of sustainable development in robotics and its applications, and knows the effects of digitalization on the design and development of robotic processes. After completing the course, the student is familiar with programming robots and has the skills to implement programming applications. The student is able to perform the most common part processing and welding tasks.
Content
The course consists of lectures and exercises, which are performed both in a simulation environment and with robots as laboratory work. In the lectures, I delve into the basic concepts of robotics, programming principles and safety aspects. In addition, the course includes cost-effectiveness and user-oriented aspects in the design of robotic processes.
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)
The student recognizes the basic concepts of robotics and the applications of robotics. The student completes the robot's programming tasks with assistance or as part of a group.
Assessment criteria, good (3-4)
The student can apply the most central concepts of robotics and identify potential applications of robotics. The student can independently plan and implement the basic programming of the robot.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
The student understands the broad aspects of robotics, generalizes, analyzes, looks for different solution options, and works constructively in a group.
