Objectives (course unit)

The aim of the course is to provide students with essential skills and knowledge in stepping from the study life to work life.

Students are able to apply their skills in their career planning and explore existing work-life opportunities.
The course prepares you to meet work-life needs with portfolios, discover professional self-esteem and learn entrepreneurial skills such as taxation and company forms.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2) (course unit)

The student is able to combine work-life requirements with a personal portfolio.
The student knows the needed work-life skills.
The student understands the practicalities of work life and applies them for personal use.

Assessment criteria, good (3-4) (course unit)

The student is able to select the most suitable work methods, contents and forms for personal use.
The student is aware of the content and given information on different parts related to work-life.
Good delivery of combining work-life skills to a portfolio.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5) (course unit)

The student has a clear insight into needed work-life skills and excellently evaluates them.
The student is fully aware of the possibilities in future requirements.
The student delivers an excellent portfolio to meet company and community needs.

Location and time

Online meetings on Thursdays at 15-17, starting on Thursday 4.9.

Exam schedules

No exam, only assignments during course.

This course is evaluated based on your activity during online meetings, course assignments and presentations.
