Objectives (course unit)
Student is able to
- use the basic equipment of laboratory work
- explain the principles of laboratory work
- know operational, use and quality assurance principles of basic equipment
- determine water and reagent service of laboratory work
- know biological, physical, chemical and psychic hazards in laboratory work
- know key occupational safety regulations and can work safely
- take sustainable development into consideration in their work
Content (course unit)
Measurement of volume:Transfer pipettes, measuring pipettes, micropipettes, capillary pipettes, measuring bottles and glasses, diluters and metering devices and other basic gauges. Shakers, mixers, cell stirrers. Centrifuges. Thermostats. Burker counting chamber, light microscope.
