Objectives (course unit)

Students
- are aware of the effects of nature in health and the well-being of a human being,
- are able to use experiences of the nature in promoting health and well-being,
- are able to use health-promoting elements of the built and social environment in their profession,
- appreciate sustainable development and responsible acts,
- know the content of sustainable development programs in professional organizations,
- have an experimental attitude to be aware of nature experiences through internal body senses and all senses.

- health-promoting effects of nature
- experiencing the nature
- natural environment and built environment
- sustainable development and responsible acts
- “without barriers in the nature”
- sustainable development program in students’ own profession
- “Inner body environment, awareness of body, self and nature, mindfulness”

Prerequisites (course unit)

All TAMK students are welcome to participate on this course.

No tests - tasks described above (planning and guiding nature activities, group work)

Active and productive participation in exercises and lessons and tasks
Planning and guiding nature trail activities or guided experiences, pair-work (- might be some evenings also)

All assignments and tasks carried out succesfully. Student has actively shown interest in topics during classes and gropuswork and reflected experiences in learning diary.
