Objectives (course unit)
During the module students familiarize themselves with the basic questions of planning a business and starting business operations, for example entrepreneurship, forms of business, planning of profitable business, marketing and finance of new companies. Students also improve their computing skills. During the module student teams will draw up business plans and establish learning enterprises.
FINANCIAL ADMINISTRATION
After completing the course, the student will
- know the basic concepts of financial administration
- be able to formulate the calculations needed for business plans.
MARKETING
After completing the course students will be able to:
- define modern marketing thinking, segmentation and marketing environment and factors affecting it
- define the competitive tools of marketing and use them in business marketing
- develop a marketing plan as part of the business plan.
JURISPRUDENCE
After completing the course students will
- know the most important sources of law and know how to use them
- know the diverse company forms and major differences between them
- be able to draw up the charters of foundation.
BUSINESS PLAN
After completing the course students will
- be able to draw up business plans independently and as members of a team
- know key elements of business plans
- be able to utilize diverse parts of the business plan.
BUSINESS COMMUNICATION
After completing the course, the student will
- know the principles of formal communication
- be able to evaluate and improve his/her communication skills
- be able to work in a target-oriented, polite and cooperative way in meetings and negotiation situations.
PRESENTATION SKILLS
After completing the course, the student will
- recognise his/her own presentation strengths and utilise them
- be able to use AV devices
- be able to act in a target-oriented and interactive way in business situations
- accept stage fright and know main ways to control it.

MARKETING
