Objectives
The students gain information about mechatronics and implementing a mechatronic production process. The students learn the theory of mechatronics from the viewpoints of mechanics, electronics and ICT. The students carry out laboratory works on the different fields of mechanics.
Content
Introduction to mechatronics. Components and circuits of electronics. Semiconductors. Digital electronics. Analogue electronics. Micro computers and micro controllers. Handling data. Sensors. Electronic actuators. Mechanical actuators. Attaching microcontrollers to actuators. Control theory (modelling, analysis, graphic techniques). Robot systems. Integrated circuits. Theory of laboratory work. Motoma robot controls. Laboratory work: RFID techniques. C programming language. Computer vision. Robotics. Hydraulics.
28 h classroom education, 2 h exam. The classroom education is divided: RFID techniques and computer vision 8 h, robotics 8 h, hydraulics 8 h, C programming language 4 h, exam 2 h.
