Value basis for education
A responsible organisation takes a long view in managing and developing their actions exceeding the ecological, social and financial minimum requirements set by legislation.
Developing service businesses requires understanding the customers, and the ability to develop the business based on this understanding. The impact of responsible ways of working is organisation specific. The common item is not, however, to consider the responsibility for society as a cost but as a competitive strength.

Teaching methods
The tuition uses different teaching methods. The classroom education, for most part, takes place on Thursday evenings (16.30-20.00) and on Fridays (8.30-16.00), roughly every other week during the autumn and spring terms.
Collaborative knowledge construction and sharing are an essential part of learning and the students are expected to participate in the classroom teaching. The attendance requirements for each course are determined by the teachers of the course.
The degree programme education is mostly carried out in Finnish.
