Evolving Musical Skills (10cr)

Objectives

The student has an understanding of the requirements of working life in music and he or she is able to choose a professional focus for himself. The student's musical competence has developed in the way required by the subject of the study. He is able to apply and combine knowledge in different fields and to work independently in the specialized tasks of his or her field.

Content

The student specializes to one or two from the following competences (1-10 ECTS).
- instrumental skills
- choir leading
- music theory
- composing
- music arrangement
- music technology
- event production

The topics are related to the thesis or they can otherwise extend the student's professional skills.

Learning materials are agreed upon with the teacher on a case-by-case basis.
