Objective of course
The student:
-knows the essential concepts of pharmacology and toxicology
-is aware of the pharmacodynamics of the most common drugs in the human body and interaction of the most common medical substances in the human body
-knows the indications of the most common medicines from the viewpoint of laboratory tests

-basic concepts of pharmacology
-pharmacodynamics of drugs, receptors
-dosage
-pharmacokinetics
-metabolism of xenobiotics / foreign substances
-general toxicology and organ toxicology, mutagenicity, carcinogenicity and teratogenicity
-examination of toxicity and its assessment
-interaction of medicines and their safety
-adverse effects of medicines and effects on laboratory tests
-cytotoxic drugs
-antimicrobics/antibiotics
-narcotics
-anticoagulants and medications affecting blood coagulation
-bronchodilators and antiepileptics
-cardiovascular agents
