The education is conducted through flexible learning, comprising both face-to-face and distance learning. The learning is based on coaching pedagogy, where you will have your own coach and coaching group for support. Distance learning involves independent study using literature and various learning assignments, as well as online learning utilizing digital tools and remote connections. You can integrate your studies into your own work through projects, development tasks, thesis work, and internships, among other methods.

You have the opportunity to have your previously completed relevant higher education studies and prior competence recognized. You can also have your internship recognized or complete it in your own workplace, provided the work is in the field of the education and is at the level of Bachelor of Business Administration studies.

Structure of Studies
The extent of the Bachelor's degree is 210 ECTS credits. The completion time for the degree is 3.5 years, but it can be shorter depending on your prior knowledge and the pace of your studies. The degree consists of the following components: basic and professional studies (120 ECTS), elective professional studies (30 ECTS), freely selectable studies (15 ECTS), internship (30 ECTS), and the thesis (15 ECTS).

Thesis
In thesis, you demonstrate your ability to independently apply your knowledge and skills in a practical expert task related to your studies. The thesis is typically a planning or development project commissioned by a company or organization. You choose the topic of your thesis yourself. The thesis can also be completed as an individual, pair, or group project and may integrate various fields, but the topic should be related to business administration expertise.

Career Opportunities
The Bachelor of Business Administration program is comprehensive. Graduates possess the skills to develop and expand businesses, particularly through opportunities in marketing, sales, management, and internationalization. You have the potential to work in challenging roles requiring business expertise, either as a specialist or in managerial positions, or as an independent entrepreneur in a dynamic operating environment.

You can also secure an internship position anywhere in the world. TAMK ensures an international atmosphere with hundreds of international degree and exchange students from various parts of the world. Other ways to gain language and cultural competence include language studies, mentoring foreign students, participating in family friendship programs, taking English-language courses, and engaging in international projects and initiatives.

Further Study Opportunities
After completing the degree and gaining at least two years of work experience in the field, you have the option to apply for a Master's degree at a university of applied sciences. This education also opens doors to continue your studies in Master's programs at universities, for example.
