The student
- knows the possibilities offered by TAMK in learning the profession
- knows the contents and implementation of physiotherapy education at TAMK and is able to compare it with other physiotherapy degree programmes in Finland
- is able to use the study guide and implementation plan as support in studies
- understands the factors affecting learning and is able to observe his/her own learning style
- knows the problem based learning approach
- knows the way to build up knowledge
- knows the principles, concepts and strategies of information acquisition and knows the different stages of the information acquisition process
- knows physiotherapy, the process of physiotherapy and the work of physiotherapists as part of rehabilitation
- is able to follow the ethical principles in communication situations
