Objectives

The students
- have the basic knowledge about basic movements and therapeutic exercises when guiding motor learning
- are able to take account persons individual needs, life situation and resources in learning movements and functions during their guidance
- can describe the stages of motor learning and take them into account in guidance
- are able to act in a way which promotes moving, mobility and health
- can describe the goals and content for health exercise and include health exercise into physiotherapy and health promotion
- know the basics of normal, healthy nutrition
- recognise and are aware of the importance of own thoughts, beliefs, feelings and behaviour in interaction
- recognise and aim to understand the situation of person in plain
- can acquire information and evaluate sources critically
- can use researched information in learning the basics of the profession

- group process in physiotherapy
- the guidance process

- physiotherapy process, client report
- different forms of communication in various professional situations
- health promotion, health education
- health exercise
- nutritional counselling
- mechanics of muscle, effects of exercise on organ groups
- therapeutic exercise, PNF method
- guiding basic movement (also with instruments)
- didactics of physical exercise
- use of music in guidance
- basics of aseptics
- first aid
- personal and clear way to communicate
