Objectives
The students learn to analyse circuits in time and space domains. They understand filter types and their properties. The use of Laplace transformation in handling of circuits, basics of wave transform analysis.
Content
Mutual inductance. Transformer, coupling factors (transformer’s entrance impedance) . T-equivalent circuit, -equivalent circuit. Circuit analysis and L-transformation. Transfer function, two-port. Functioning of RC, RL and RLC circuits in time level. Time constant Natural frequencies. Functioning of RC, RL and RLC circuits in frequency level. Low pass filter, barrier frequency, frequency of ½ power. Bode diagram and related concepts.
