Objectives

The objective is to deepen students’ construction physics competence on existing building stock and its properties and renovation. Students learn basics of condition surveys and their analysis, energy efficient renovation, and humidity related repairs.

Content

Analysis of warmth and humidity properties of external walls, base floors, and sanitary facilities in typical residential buildings, introduction to condition survey examples and their analysis, examples and assignments on energy efficient and humidity related repairs.
