Students know the basics of music theory

Course contents
1. MUSIC THEORY
- Study of diverse musical phenomena and the terms used for them
2. EAR TRAINING
- Practising rhythms
- Training of "internal hearing", i.e. the ability to hear the notation in one´s own mind
- Learning to read sheet music.
3. TRANSCRIPTION
- Learning the basics of notation
- Writing down diverse rhythm, melody and harmony phenomena mainly from recordings
