Objectives
The students learn to use the necessary programs needed for their studies and how to use the TAMK data network services. The students learn to independently seek for information from the literature of the field.
The students are able to apply the general bases of technical documentation as well as graphic symbol standards. They recognise the background of computer assisted design. The students are able to interpret technical drawings and are able to communicate using them. The students learn the basics of CAD software. They design and implement their own document templates, based on instructions.
Content
Using a computer, interface and resource management, computer applications, structure of a computer, the most common applications, e-mail, Internet, information search on-line, making a homepage, TAMK’s data systems.
The students learn about computer assisted documentation and its basics. They know how it differs from traditional drawing. The students make their own document templates.
