Objectives
The students learn the basics of road and traffic engineering. They also become familiar with different kinds of road drawings and their interpretation.
Content
History of roads and traffic, forms of traffic, legislation, traffic surveys and forecasts, capacity and level of service, different kind of road plans, planning processes, basics of road geometry, elements and constructions, cross-sections, basics of road design and interpretation of drawings.
