Students
- can maintain, develop and evaluate their language skills and language learning skills
- can use Swedish orally and in written in situations of their own professional field
- can acquire information and exploit it in developing their own expertise
- become familiar with the culture of the Swedish-speaking population in Finland and in the Nordic countries and can communicate with people from different kind of cultures in Swedish
- acquires the oral and written language skills in Swedish required of state officials functioning in a position requiring a higher education in a bilingual office (civil service language proficiency certificate, European reference frame level B1= sufficient, B2= good)

Students will deepen and activate their Swedish skills. They will survive both orally and in written in different kinds of situations in the field of tourism.
