-students know the basics of German language and culture aiming at practical language skills and students can manage easy customer service situations in touristical matters
-students know the basic pronunciation principles of German
-students develop their language learning skills and self-evaluation skills and their interest towards German language and culture increases

-students expand their oral and written communication skills in German in touristical situations and strengthen their grammatical skills
-students can understand easy touristical texts
-can maintain, develop and evaluate their language skills and language learning skills

Course contents
C707A-7
Basics of German language and culture. Pronunciation exercises. Practice of diverse easy situations in touristical matters and basic German vocabulary in tourism. All aspects of language skills are practised during the course.
C707B-7
Deepening the basics of German language. Practice of diverse situations in touristical matters and texts in tourism. All aspects of language skills are practised during the course.

Teaching methods
Active participation in the work forms of the course, experiential and cooperative contact teaching and independent study

Assessment methods
Small-scale oral and written exercises, written course examination and/or compilation of a language portfolio on German language and culture.

C707B-7 Basic German in tourism or equivalent skills.
