Description

Koulutusohjelman tuottama osaaminen
Sähkötekniikka on laaja-alainen huipputekniikan ala. Se sisältää monia osa-alueita, joten eri alojen osaamista tarvitaan. Energiahuolto sekä teollisuuden ja kiinteistöjen sähköiset energia-, ohjaus- ja säätöjärjestelmät muodostavat päätoiminta-alueet. Usein tuotteisiin ja järjestelmiin on sisällytetty tietoteknisiä osia. Sähkötekniikassa pitää erikoistua, mutta samalla on tunnettava laajasti koko sähköalaa.

Monet sähköalan työtehtävät liittyvät kansainvälisiin projekteihin. Alalla työskenteleviltä vaaditaan hyvää kielitaitoa, kommunikointikykyä, ryhmätyöskentelytaitoja ja joustavuutta. Alalla on hyvät mahdollisuudet myös yksityisyrittäjyyteen.

Valmistuvien työelämään sijoittuminen
Sähkötekniikan koulutusohjelmassa koulutetaan insinöörejä sähkövoimatekniikan ja automaatiotekniikan alojen tehtäviin. Tavoitteena on, että koulutus antaa valmiudet toimia teknisesti vaativissa tehtävissä sekä luo riittävän laajan teoreettisen pohjan, joka mahdollistaa työtehtävissä ja jatko-opinnoissa tarvittavan tiedon hankinnan.

Sähkötekniikan koulutusohjelmasta valmistuneet insinöörit työskentelevät suunnittelu-, kehitys-, käyttö-, kunnossapito-, markkinointi- ja johtotehtävissä teollisuudessa, suunnittelutoimistoissa, palvelualan yrityksissä, teknisen kaupan piirissä, erilaisissa energia- ja viestiliikennealan laitoksissa sekä yksityisyrittäjinä. Työtehtävät ovat usein kansainvälisiä.

Koulutuksen arvoperusta
Sähköala on korkeaa teknologiaa, jossa vaaditaan hyvää matemaattis-luonnontieteellistä osaamista, sähkötekniikan teoreettisen perustan hallintaa ja taitoa käyttää käytännön järjestelmiä kuvaavia matemaattisia malleja. Monet työtehtävät edellyttävät hyvää kaavioiden, toimintakuvausten ja muiden dokumenttien tulkinta- ja laatimistaitoa. Kaikissa alan työtehtävissä hyödynnetään nykyaikaisen tietotekniikan mahdollisuuksia.

Opetuksen toteuttaminen
Opetuksessa käytetään perinteisten menetelmien tukena monipuolisia ja nykyaikaisia laboratoriota ja malinnusympäristöjä. Näissä päästään hyödyntämään teoriassa opittuja asioita käytännön ongelmatilanteisiin ja syventämään teoriaopetuksessa hankittuja tietoja.

Koulutuksen tuottama osaaminen eri opintovuosina
Ensimmäisen ja toisen vuoden aikana luodaan laaja pohja insinööriopinnoille. Opinnot antavat valmiudet suuntautua tarjolla oleviin kolmeen eri suuntautumispolkuun. Suuntautuminen tapahtuu toisen opiskeluvuoden aikana. Opintopolut saavat kukin erilaisia sisällöllisiä ja määrällisiä painotuksia seuraavasti:

SÄHKÖVOIMATEKNIIKAN SUUNTAUTUMISPOLKU
Sähkövoimatekniikassa perehdytään sähkön käyttötekniikkaan, sähköenergian suur- ja pienjännitejakeluun, teollisuuden ja rakennusten sähkösuunnitteluun sekä näitä tukeviin tekniikoihin, kuten automaatio-, ohjaus- ja valvontajärjestelmiin. Valmistuva insinööri tuntee sähköalaan liittyvän vastuun ja osaa soveltaa tietojaan käytännössä. Tutkinto sisältää sähkötöiden johtamiseen vaadittavat koulutusvaatimukset (sähköpätevyys 1). Alan insinöörit toimivat teollisuuden, sähkölaitosten ja sähköasennusalan suunnittelu-, käyttö- ja johtotehtävissä, teknisessä kaupassa, hallinnossa sekä yrittäjinä niin kotimarkkinoilla kuin kansainvälisissä tehtävissä.


ÄLYKKÄÄT KONEET / INTELLIGENT MACHINES SUUNTAUTUMISPOLKU
Älykkäiden koneiden suuntautumispolku on tekniikan koulutusohjelmien yhteinen. Se on ensisijaisesti tarkoitettu auto- ja kuljetusteknikan, kone- ja tuotantotekniikan, sähkötekniikan ja tietotekniikan koulutusohjelman opiskelijoille.
Opintopolun keskeisiä osaamisalueita ovat laiteautomaatio ja toimilaitetekniikka, sähköiset tehosiirtojärjestelmät, tietoliikennetekniikka, automaatio- ja säätötekniikka sekä koneenrakentaminen ja tuotekehitys. Koneenrakentaminen edellyttää monipuolista insinööriosaamista. Koneenrakentaminen hyödyntää yhä lisääntyvässä määrin sähkö- ja tietoteknisiä järjestelmiä. Toteutetut koneet muodostavat usein myös kokonaisia omavoimaisia, automatisoituja tuotantojärjestelmiä.

Vuositavoitteet:
1. OPISKELUVUODEN JÄLKEEN opiskelija kykenee työskentelemään harjoittelijana yksinkertaisissa sähkö- ja automaatiotekniikan työtehtävissä alan yrityksessä. Opinnoissa keskitytään opiskeluvalmiuksien ja matemaattis-luonnontieteellisen sekä sähkötekniikan perusosaamisen kehittämiseen.

2. OPISKELUVUODEN JÄLKEEN opiskelijan tiedot ja taidot työskennellä harjoittelijana sähkö- ja automaatioalan yrityksessä kehittyvät. Hänellä on insinööriosaamisen perustaidot ja hän hallitsee oman suuntautumispolkunsa ammatilliset perusteet.

3. OPISKELUVUODEN JÄLKEEN opiskelijan pystyy työskentelemään sähkö- ja automaatioalan yrityksessä harjoittelijana insinöörin työtehtävissä. Hänellä on oman ammattialansa perustiedot.

4. OPISKELUVUODEN JÄLKEEN opiskelijan pystyy työskentelemään sähkö- ja automaatioalan yrityksessä insinöörin työtehtävissä. Hän on ssanut valmiudet kehittyä oman ammattialansa ammattilaiseksi.
