Objectives

Part 1: Finnish language and communication, 3 cr. The students develop their speaking, elucidation and communication skills and gain readiness for the communication situations of school and work communities.

Part 2: Technical reporting, 2 cr The students familiarize themselves with technical reporting and develop their writing skills as well as their information handling. (2nd year of studies)

Content

Part 1: Spoken and written business and organizational communication.

Part 2: Oral and written reporting, also final thesis.

Part 1: none Part 2: Finnish language and communication completed

Literature: Part 1 and part 2: Literature will be agreed upon at the beginning of the course. Part 1: Active participation in class (mandatory attendance), group work, spoken and written exercises, independent study, remote work, lectures, possibly a study trip, exam/group exam
