Osaamistavoitteet
The Student can basics in inorganic chemistry and can solve tasks concerning different reactions.
Sisältö
Concepts: atomic and periodic system, quantity and concentration of solutions, stoichiometry, bonds and compounds. Chemical reaction: various reactions, reaction equation, equilibrium, ion input and solubility. Acids, bases and pH. Thermochemistry and electrochemistry.
Arviointikriteerit, tyydyttävä (1-2)
The student is able to define basic concepts and the connections between them. The student recognizes the phenomena related to the chemical reaction and is able to form reaction equations and explain the importance of stoichiometry in the quantitative treatment of the reaction. The student is able to determine the acid, base and pH. The student masters the basic concepts of thermochemistry and electrochemistry.
The student is able to use basic concepts for simple chemical calculations and performs the tasks related to reaction equations and pH calculations guided adequately.
The student takes responsibility for his / her own performance and is able to give and receive feedback

Knowledge: The student masters chemical concepts and phenomena and is able to structure the relationships between them.
Completion: The student is able to apply what he / she has learned to solve tasks related to the above-mentioned chemical events and to choose the most appropriate procedure from different options and to justify his / her choice.
Being: The student is able to give and receive feedback actively and constructively.
