Objectives
The student
- knows how to support the growth and development of both healthy and sick children;
- knows how to support and guide families in parenthood;
- is able to recognize the risk factors related to parenthood, upbringing and healthy lifestyles
- is able, under supervision, as a member of a multidisciplinary team and in collaboration with the child and family, to assess the need for care, plan, implement and evaluate the paediatric care, by using evidence-based nursing;
- knows the most common children's diseases

- principles of paediatric nursing
- impact of a child’s disease on the child and family
