- knows the importance of project monitoring, evaluation and quality assurance as part of the project

In case of failed course
- there are major gaps in the definition of basic project concepts
- roles and responsibilities of the project organization are unstructured
- the relevance of the project plan in the context of the project life cycle is incomplete
- the importance of communication and documentation is not structured
- the role of project monitoring, evaluation, and quality assurance as part of project implementation is weak
- the student is not able to assess the potential financial issues of the project
