Objectives (course unit)

- The student is able to name the sources of stress in athlete's daily life and knows the methods that can be used to evaluate the stress and recovery - The student knows the importance of restorative sleep for performance capacity and injury risks - The student is able to explain the importance of nutrition in the recovery from exercise and is able to list the characteristics of restorative nutrition

The course is assessed numerically from 1 to 5 (0 = fail). The grade will be the average of the grades given for the course assignments.

Teaching methods

The study is conducted online in the Moodle learning environment. The study is carried out independently at your own pace during the implementation period. The study does not include joint meetings or pair or group work. The student familiarizes themselves with the theoretical material, completes online assignments according to the given instructions. The study requires independent work and scheduling. The course will take place between 15.09.2025 - 23.11.2025.

Student workload

The extent of the course is 3 credits. The workload of the study is designed so that one credit corresponds to an average of 27 hours of student work to achieve the learning objectives. The actual time required varies individually, e.g., due to prior knowledge.
