Objectives (course unit)

During this course you learn to work in different cultural environments and, as a general rule, strengthen your English language skills.

After completing this course, students will
- be familiar with the principles and starting points of cultural sensitivity.
- can work professionally, client-oriented and ethically in international environments.
- identify factors influencing intercultural communication and be able to adapt their own communication style to the context.
- can justify the rationale and principles of their own activities, organisation and sector.
- develop a reflective and investigative approach to work, particularly in international contexts.
- Identify and analyse structures and practices that undermine the performance of clients, the organisation and the industry at a global level.
- be able to work with others to strengthen community, inclusion and participation for all.
- can plan, implement and evaluate activities/projects/services in collaboration with the workplace.
- have improved to the European Framework of Reference for Foreign Languages level B2.1 or have learned a new language.
