Objectives (course unit)
The student
- masters the basics of evidence-based practice and development trends in acute nursing
- is able to renew services in cooperation with customers, staff and service providers
- is able to critically evaluate, use and produce and apply research in demanding clinical nursing

- research literacy and research evidence as part of the development of acute nursing

The student
- knows the starting points of evidence-based practice and identifies the trends in acute nursing
- is able to work in a multiprofessional team when reforming acute care service chains
- is able to reflect on the contents of clinical work in his / her own area of expertise utilizing research and articles related to nursing
Assessment criteria, good (3-4) (course unit)
The student
- is able to apply the expertise of his / her field in acute care services using different perspectives and drawing evidence-based conclusions
- is able to critically evaluate the knowledge of his / her own area of expertise both orally and in writing, applying the evidence obtained
- masters the starting points and development trends of evidence-based activities in the development of acute care service chains
Assessment criteria, excellent (5) (course unit)
The student
- is able to apply his / her clinical expertise in a wide range of changing healthcare environments, promoting the establishment of evidence-based practice
- is able to plan, implement and comprehensively evaluate development projects important for his / her field in the development of acute care service chains
- be able to evaluate evidence-based conclusions and analyze their suitability for solving the problems of clinical work requiring acute care
