Objectives (course unit)
Ethical management leads to well-being at work, productivity and profitable business. Management practises also build an employer image when competing for skilled employees.
Student:
- understands the key concepts of human resource management
- understands the importance of labour law and collective bargaining
- identifies the frameworks set by the budget in its operations
- understands the principles of profitability and profit management
- recognizes the principles of ethical leadership and social responsibility
- is able to describe the impact of leadership and work organisation on well-being at work and employer image

What do collective bargaining and labour law mean from the employer's point of view?
What is the importance of budget as part of the organization's financial planning and operations?
WHY is leadership an effective, ethical and responsible activity?
HOW does management affect job satisfaction, well-being and employer image?
HOW are different cultural backgrounds taken into account in management?

The student identifies and defines the phenomena and basic concepts related to the management of productivity and well-being at work.
The student is familiar with various methods of human resource management and financial planning.
