Objectives (course unit)
The student:
- understands the importance of interpersonal and presentation skills as part of his/her profession
- is able to analyse his/her own interpersonal and presentation skills
- can observe and evaluate other people´s communication and is able to adapt his/her own communication in different situations
- knows how to communicate as a professional in a structured manner and convincingly
- knows how to prepare and give an oral presentation to a large audience with appropriate illustrations
- knows the normal progress of common interpersonal situations (customer service, infos, meetings) and is able to act in these situations responsibly and according to established practices
- knows how to make use of feed back.
Content (course unit)
Customer service and info situations in forestry business, levels of interaction, communication styles, non-verbal communication, preparation of oral presentations, visualisation, giving a presentation, theory of meeting and negotiation skills, cultural manners, group dynamics.

The student communicates in a constructive and understandable way.

In addition to the above mentioned:
Interaction and occurrence situations are receptive and situational in nature and function well. When performing, the student maintains eye contact with the audience and speaks in their own words.

In addition to the above mentioned: The student communicates convincingly, enthusiastically and interactively. He /she performs naturally and effectively, while maintaining audience interest throughout the performance
