Objectives (course unit)
In this course, students will acquire essential concepts and theories related to individual growth, development, and learning. They will apply this knowledge to their own practice.
Upon completing the course, students will:
• Understand key concepts and theories that influence individual growth and learning
• Analyze phenomena related to education and the role of a social educator across different life stages
• Identify their strengths and areas for development as caregivers and enhance their awareness of educational practices
• Recognize the significance of motivation and emotions in learning and apply this understanding to promote growth and learning
• Identify common support needs related to growth, development, and learning, and consider these in their own actions
