Objectives (course unit)

The student knows
- the most common paper and paper board converting products and can describe the manufacturing processes of them
- the raw material used in the different converting products, end usability requirements and markets
- link the knowlegdge to new products in the market and to the ones that could be developed

Content (course unit)

Paper and paperboard products. Their raw-materials (fibre materials, polymers, glues, metals) and product characteristics. Post-production processes. New bio based products.
