Objectives (course unit)

Students
- can measure physical condition and drawn up a training program based on the results
- evaluate and analyse the effects of therapeutic training
- can use the methods of therapeutic training to improve a person’s well-being

Content (course unit)

- training of muscular strength
- training of flexibility and stretching
- movement control
- measurement of physical condition with indirect bicycle ergometer and walking test
- implementing health-enhancing physical activity

Assessment criteria, pass/fail (course unit)

Pass
The student prepares for the practice situations carefully and is goal-oriented and active.
The student is able to measure physical fitness of clients independently, as well as create a personalized exercise program based on the assessment results and returns it as agreed.
The student is able to evaluate the suitability and effects of training programs.
The student is able to give and receive feedback.

Fail
The student is not well prepared to do the tasks and activity in the practical lessons is occasional.
The student is unable to measure the physical fitness of clients and is not able to create training program.
The student does not return the exercise program on time, and the subject matter does not correspond to the objectives.
The student is not able to evaluate the suitability and effects of training programs.
The student withdraws and selects or neglects assignments and practice during class.
The student has a negative attitude towards giving and receiving feedback.
