Changes caused by diseases in the organ system
Cell death
Inflammation and inflammatory reaction
Circulatory disorders
Neoplasms

Clinical Medicine
Factors affecting the onset of diseases and changes caused by diseases in human body
Most common diseases in the different fields of medicine and their laboratory diagnostics (allergies, cancers, infections, autoimmune and pulmonary diseases, gastroenterology, cardiology, nephrology, endocrinology, and neurology)

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2) (course unit)

The student is able to list the key factors affecting the onset of diseases and to describe the most common changes caused by diseases of the body. The student has a basic knowledge of the inflammatory reaction and classification of infections, vascular disease classification, as well as the emergence of neoplastic diseases and classification of tumors. The student is able to name the most common diseases in different fields of medicine and knows the basics of their laboratory diagnostics.

Assessment criteria, good (3-4) (course unit)
