Re-examination 1 week 47 - Moodle
Re-examination 2 if necessary, the date will be announced later
Students have two retake opportunities.

Assessment methods and criteria

Assessment of anatomy and physiology is based on a written examination. Rating 0-5. Grade 1 requires 60% of the maximum points.

Objectives:
- The student knows the structure and function of human body organ systems and is able to form an understanding of a human body as a physical functional entity.
- The student knows the most important terms of anatomy and physiology.
- The student knows how to apply the aforementioned knowledge both when studying and when carrying out nursing work.
- The student learns to use different sources to gain information both independently and together with fellow students.
- The student learns to effectively use the time intended for independent study.

Assessment scale

0-5

Teaching methods

Lectures, online lectures, independent study, small group work, homework

Learning materials

Books, online material, online applications
Recommended books.

1. Tortora & Derrickson. Principles of anatomy and physiology. Harper Collins Publishers
2. Thibodeau G.A., Patton K.T. Structure & Function of the Body. Elsevier.
3. Anatomy and Physiology. Betts et al. (OpenStax)

Further information

During the first class, orientation matters are reviewed, so attendance at the orientation is highly recommended. If you can't attend the orientation, find out about the course yourself from a fellow course member.

The anatomy and physiology studies include close teaching, contact lectures, online lectures and the student's independent work.
Learning will be partly designed in such a way that the subject area covered during lecture has been familiarized in advance, e.g. by studying the topic from the book and doing possible tasks. During lectures, the focus will be on the most important and difficult things by thinking, questioning and discussing.
