Objectives (course unit)
Student
- can explain atom structure, periodic system and chemical bond formation
- can write formulas for chemical compounds, name inorganic compounds and write reaction equations
- knows the concept of mole and applies it to chemical calculations
- can explain the importance of chemical equilibrium in the course of reactions and knows the factors that influence equilibrium
- understands the concept of acid / base and pH and can apply them in practical work

- atomic structure and cyclic system, chemical bonds, formulas and nomenclature of inorganic compounds
- writing reaction equations, mole concept, chemical calculations
- oxidation and reduction
