Objectives (course unit)
The Student
- can identify and assess development needs of acute nursing and master research and development
- is able to map national and international trends of acute nursing for evidence-based practice
- is capable of demanding problem solving and innovate new acute nursing methods
- can work as expert in multiprofessional acute nursing teams and networks in a responsible manner

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2) (course unit)
The Student
- is able to consider the contents of his/her own expert area based on the knowledge being studied;
- is able to write an expert article in his/her own area of responsibility in the healthcare environment;
- is able to evaluate acute care work and articles in the team;
- is able to work as a member of a multiprofessional team and act as a peer reviewer.
Assessment criteria, good (3-4) (course unit)
The student
- is able to apply expertise in his/her field of expertise in changing health environments and is able to critically analyze the information and sources of his or her responsibility both verbally and as a written expert in the form of an opinion/article utilizing the evidence based knowledge he has acquired and assessing its suitability for solving the (clinical) acute care problem;
- is able to comprehensively and critically evaluate his/her own activities both in personal and team work;
- is able to identify their own areas of development based on their feedback and to act as peers to develop and encourage feedback;
- is able to identify, evaluate and make evidence-based conclusions.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5) (course unit)
The student
- is able to apply his/her clinical expertise extensively in changing healthcare environments;
- is able to prepare, implement and evaluate an expert article relevant to the development of its field;
- is able to act as a clinical expert in evaluating and prioritizing treatment needs in its various areas of responsibility within its various networks;
- is able to apply and critically evaluate the basis of evidence-based activities, to identify and make evidence-based conclusions and to evaluate their suitability for solving (clinical) problems.

Assessment methods and criteria
Essee yksilösuoritus; arviointi asteikolla 1-5 arviontikriteerien mukaan, painotus 1.5 kokonaisarvosanasta
Tiimityö ( 2-4 henkeä ) artikkeliaihion kirjoittamiseen TAMK JOURNALin ohjeiden mukaan; arviointi 1-5 arviointikriteerien mukaan ohjauksen käyttö mukaan lukien, painotus 3.5 kokonaisarvosanasta.

5 op = 5 x 27 h = 135 h, joista yksilösuoritus essee 1 op. Esseen pituus max 9000 merkkiä välilyönteineen.
Tiimeissä 2-4 opiskelijan kahden opintopisteen panos 4 op sisältäen toisen tiimin tuotoksen vertaisarvioinnin ja seminaarin 26.11.2020.
Content scheduling
Esseen palautus 30.10 .2020 ( yhteinen ohjaus 21.10 klo 8.30-10 opiskelijoiden ennakko- kysymysten pohjalta.
Artikkeli-aihion 1 versio palautetaan lokakuun aikana opettajalle kommentoitia varten ja mahdolliset korjaukset tulee tehdä ennen viimeisen version palauttamista.
Valmis artikkeli-aihio palautetaan 13.11.2020
