Human Resource Management and Competence Management (5 cr)

Objectives (course unit)

The Student
- is able to apply the methods of dialogue and collaborative management in leadership;
- is able to use the coaching and empowering management methods in leadership;
- is able to apply the methods of competence leadership/management skills;
- is able to apply the main regulations of the labour act in human resource management;
- recognises and is able to assess his/her own capacities and development needs in leadership.

- employee labour legislation in the social and health area

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2) (course unit)

The student
- masters the basic knowledge of a particular theme area.

Assessment criteria, good (3-4) (course unit)

The student
- is able to apply the central principles of dialogue and cooperative leadership, coaching and empowerment leadership and competence management;
- is able to apply the rules and procedures of the labour act and conduct.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5) (course unit)

The student
- is able to apply, critically and ethically, the principles of dialogue and cooperative leadership, coaching and empowerment leadership and competence management;
- is able to implement the regulations and procedures with detailed explanations of the rules of the labour act and conduct.

Evaluation methods and criteria

Written assignments and online discussions are evaluated on a scale of 1 to 5.

-Kykenee käyttämään hankkimaansa tietoa nykyisten toimintatapojen kriittisessä arvioinnissa ja kehittämisessä
-Osallistuminen opintojaksolla pääsääntöisesti aktiivista ja ammatillista.
