Objectives (course unit)

Students learn to know how to use social media for the marketing and selling purposes in the companies
Students learn how to implement and plan content in digital marketing channels
Students learn how to communicate in multicultural environment using online-tools

Online communication tools, social media and content planning for companies and using video for online purposes

Meetings are every Tuesday 8.15 – 10.45 from 13th of February to 24th of April (excluding 27th of Feb) in TAMK main campus C2-16 or B5-31.

Further information

Social media marketing is a course about digital marketing, online communication, social media and content planning. The students will work in small groups implementing a real life social media assignment for 10 weeks.
During the course students will learn about online tools, producing content for digital channels, online marketing and project work.
Working language is English and meetings are every Tuesday 8.15 – 10.45 from 13th of February to 24th of April (excluding 27th of Feb) in TAMK main campus C2-16 or B5-31.
Course is open to all degree students in Tampere3 and students of Avoin AMK.
• 5 credits:
o 10-week-project & final report in groups 2 CR
o Studying books/ guides/ research articles/ webinars/ podcasts & making a presentation 1 CR
