Objectives
The aim of the course is to provide students with the ability to design and dimension a safe and cost-effective photovoltaic (PV) system for residential buildings.
After completing the course, the student will be able to:
• understand the main regulations and guidelines related to photovoltaic systems
• identify the different components of a PV system and explain their operating and sizing principles
• evaluate the profitability of a PV system based on actual electricity consumption
• theoretically carry out commissioning inspections of a PV system and understand the documentation requirements
• recognize the key factors related to the operation, maintenance, and upkeep of a PV system
