Objectives
This course equips students with the knowledge and skills to create meaningful impact through innovative product and service design. By understanding and applying the principles of service design, design thinking, and business development, students will be prepared to drive customer-oriented value creation within their business projects.

During this course the students will learn / After completing this course, the students will know
-understand and apply service design principles: grasp the philosophy, terminology, and processes of service design.
-How to utilize service design tools: Develop and implement service paths, customer profiles, prototypes, and testing methods. Gain insights into customer needs and productization strategies.
-Problem definition and process building: Identify and define problems suitable for service design solutions. Construct processes that involve organizational participation and service design methodologies.
-Facilitation, ideation, and data analysis: Master facilitation techniques to guide creative and collaborative sessions. Employ ideation methods to generate innovative ideas. Analyze data to inform design decisions and improve outcomes.
-Product marketing and customer-oriented development: Understand product marketing activities and the customer-oriented new product creation process. Apply sales and marketing strategies within an industrial context.
-Sustainable new product development: Comprehend the principles of sustainable new product development in a global environment. Integrate sustainability considerations into product and service design.
-Customer-oriented value creation: Participate in and contribute to customer-oriented value creation processes. Apply service-oriented design concepts and methods of customer and target group analysis.
