Content
A general view of the structure and operation of industrial power networks in various operational and disruptive situations. Network loadability, voltage levels, main electrical components, fault conditions, short circuit power, industrial network protection, and use of analysis software. The most common electrotechnical automation systems, automation centers and components, buses, interfaces and utilization of design software.
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)
The student knows the structures of industrial electrical networks and automation systems and the principles for their design. He also knows the basics of load calculation and equipment dimensioning. The student knows the basic functions of industrial electrical and automation design tools.
Assessment criteria, good (3-4)
The student understands the structures of industrial electrical networks and automation systems and knows the principles for their design. He masters the basics of load calculation and device dimensioning. The student knows how to use industrial electrical and automation design tools.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
The student has internalized the structures of industrial electrical networks and automation systems and masters their design principles. He/she has solid knowledge of the basics of load calculation and equipment dimensioning. The student knows how to apply industrial electrical and automation design tools.
