Objectives
The student
-is able to plan, implement and evaluate the health promoting nursing care of patients with chronic diseases at different stages utilizing evidence-based knowledge
-knows the pathways of treatment and services concerning the most common diseases of public health
-is able to recognize, assess and support patients suffering from substance abuse and their significant others and evaluate patient’s need for special health care services based on patient’s individual need for care
-is able to meet, inform, guide and educate individual and family regarding long-term diseases and substance abuse
