You will acquire the skills to assess the accuracy of x-ray images and identify anatomical structures in the images. In part II you will deepen your expertise and you will learn to perform common X-ray examinations of the limbs and torso, following the steps of the X-ray examination process.

The Student can, in basic training
• use radiological equipment and auxiliary equipment independently and safely
• use the key concepts related to x-ray examinations and x-ray projections
• perform the most common x-ray examinations of extremities and body according to the procedure of x-ray examination
• evaluate x-ray images according to criteria of a good x-ray picture and name the most common anatomical structures
• act according to radiation safety
• act aseptically
• act ergonomically
• work responsibly and perform given tasks carefully
• evaluate their own learning
• is interested in her/his own learning about x-ray examinations as well as the medical use of ionizing radiation and has a positive attitude towards developing continuously
