Objectives
The students learn the most important methods of investment calculations, know the parties of Finnish building and infra construction projects, their tasks, the stages of a building project and a rough estimate of the contents and tasks each stage. After the course the students are familiar with the contents of standard conditions of contracts. The students are able to draw up a contract for a simple construction project, whether acting as an orderer or a producer. The course also covers the rules and the significance of construction in society.
Content
Investment calculation, construction in the national economy, parties of construction, implementation methods, stages of a construction project, concepts of project economics. In addition to investment calculation, the students learn YSE1998, KSE1995 and RT16-10182
